CHILDRENS FRONT COVER COMPETITION 2011
This years show day catalogue cover competition was judged in Glassel Hall by Marion Youngson, Head Teacher of Lairhillock School. After looking through a lot of really good entries Marion chose the picture by Emma Sibson of Hill of Banchory Primary School as overall winner. This earns her WH Smith vouchers and also £100 pounds for the school. The competition was in two age groups and the results are as follows; In primary 1-3 section - 1st Ailsa Hamilton, Drumoak,(for the 2nd year in a row) 2nd Kate Strachan, 3rd Daisy Newton, both from Hill of Banchory. Primary 4-7 section - 1st Emma Sibson, 2nd Taryn Fletcher, 3rd Cameron Gordon, both from Finzean. A big thank you to all the schools and pupils that entered. All the pictures will be on display at the show.
